VIP Prestige can be unlocked after reaching normal VIP level 10 in Mobile Strike. Once the normal levels are maxed you can then pay 10,000 gold to go from VIP level 10 to VIP level 1 Prestige.
Before you jump right in and pay to unlock these extra levels, you need to check what benefits you will be losing first.
This is because the benefits for VIP prestige level 1, actually take a few steps back and are not as good as the standard level 10 benefits. In fact it is not until you reach the final few levels of VIP Prestige, that you get back all the equivalent boosts from VIP level 10.
Below I have listed all of the benefits from the normal VIP levels and the benefits from the prestige VIP levels. This data has kindly been provided to me by General fwdmarch from #48 HAUS.
VIP Normal Levels
VIP Prestige 1
Break Even Point
By the time you unlock VIP Prestige, the boosts to resources and the instant construction timer become less important. This is because at this point most of your resources will not be generated by your farms and the 30 minute construction reduction is not going to make much difference to your lengthy build timers.
Auto complete missions remain active throughout all prestige levels, as does the VIP Daily Streak – so neither of these are an issue.
The important abilities that do make a difference in Mobile Strike are the extra daily, alliance & VIP missions and the troop boosts.
By VIP prestige 5 you will have regained the same number number of extra daily and alliance missions you had at level 10, from level 6 onward the number increases further.
For most players the most important boosts are the combat abilities. You can see from the tables above that you need to get to VIP Prestige level 9 to match the combat boosts of 15% you get from VIP level 10. Realistically though, you will not notice a huge difference between the 12% boosts you get from VIP Prestige 7 and the 15% you got at level 10.
It is not until VIP Prestige 10 that your combat boosts actually exceed the normal level 10 boosts.
When Should You Advance?
With the above in mind you have two choices when you get to VIP 10. You either bite the bullet and go to prestige level 1 early and then spend your time trying to work your way up the new levels quickly, or you can save up enough VIP items to skip a large number of the early prestige levels instantly.
Now it may seem like common sense to just wait until you have enough points to go straight to VIP Prestige 9 and preserve all of your combat boosts. However, there is one important factor to bear in mind and that is the VIP points you are awarded every day you login.
Whilst you can save up your VIP items, once you hit level 10 you stop earning the VIP points for daily logins. As this maxes out at 550 VIP points a day, you are potentially losing out on 16,500 VIP points a month by waiting around at level 10.
Whether you decide to advance immediately, or wait it out until you have a large bank of VIP items, ultimately comes down to how much you value your combat boosts in Mobile Strike.
My advice is to wait until you have enough points to get VIP Prestige level 7, which won’t take too long and only results in a 3% reduction to your combat boosts. You can then advance to prestige and benefit from the daily login VIP on the long road to VIP Prestige level 10.
